  • 1 pack devil’s food cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar powder
  • 3-4 tbsp oil for greasing

For frosting

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 12 ounces sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweeten condensed milk
  • 14 ounces light Karo syrup

  • As we all know, the most basic step in baking is preheating your oven to a moderate temperature. Hence preheat it up to 375 degrees.
  • In a bowl beat the eggs until fluffy and then add the cake mix and warm water. Beat well. Also, add half a cup of sugar powder.
  • Grease the baking dish with oil and pour the batter into it. Bake it for at least 30 minutes or until the fork inserted in the cake comes out clean.
  • Let the baked sponge cool down for a couple of minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and mix condensed milk, butter, and syrup with it over the simmering water as we used a double boiler.
  • Cool the chocolate mixture and then beat it with a hand mix or an electric beater, and give it a smooth texture.
  • Now for serving cut the cake into brownie-sized pieces and then top each slice with the melted chocolate. Also, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the side to exaggerate the presentation and joy.
  • The ice cream will decorate your serving dish and your family will undoubtedly adore your effort.
