Cuban Steak Sandwich Recipe

  • Bread slices
  • 1 grilled beef steak
  • 5 slices of pickle
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 slices Tomatoes
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh leaves of parsley
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 thinly sliced onion
  • Potato sticks


  • Begin by frying the onion, add the onions to a larger pan with butter and olive oil and fry them for some time. Add the seasoning including salt and pepper.
  • Put the fried onion aside, and now add your beef steak in the pan, put in some lime juice, and grill for 2-3 minutes, until browned and completely cooked.
  • While steaks are cooking, mix 2 minced garlic cloves in the mayonnaise and also a pinch of salt.
  • Take your bread slices, spread the prepared sauce over it, and Now is the time for filling your steak sandwich.
  • Put some leaves of parsley at the bottom and place your beef steak over it.
  • Fill with onion and tomatoes and the fried potato sticks to make your sandwich a layered one. They spread some cheese over it and again place shredded lettuce leaves. Then put the other bread slice over it.
  • To melt the cheese, and to heat the bread a little bit, Put it in the oven for a few minutes.
  • Take it out from the oven, and there you go. Your perfect cheesy steak sandwich is ready.
  • Serve it with the pickle slices that will glorify its taste.
