  • 3 cups (468g) King Arthur Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) soft butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (227g) warm milk
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons (35g) sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons xanthan gum
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast


  • In a bowl, put flour, yeast, salt, sugar and xanthan gum together. Mix them until combined. Add milk gradually while beating withelectric mixer (or hand mixer). When all the milk is added there will be combined mixture. Then add butter and beat again.
  • Add eggs just one at a time and beat thoroughly. Then coverand let the batter rise for at least one hour.
  • Grease 8 ½ by 4 ½ inch loaf pan. Pour the batter into pan. Coverit with greased plastic wrap. Place it at warm place for 45 to 60 minutes and let the batter rise. In meantime, preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Bake for 38-42 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven. Let it cool for few minutes then remove bread from pan and place it on cooling rack to cool it completely before slicing.
