Texas Pete Chili Sauce Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • Water to pour
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • Few green chilies

Steps to make Texas Pete Chili Sauce Recipe

  1. You have to pour water into a bowl and then soak the lean grounded beef in it.
  2. You have to break up the beef and you can use a spoon for the purpose. You can also do it with your hands.
  3. Now put the veggies on medium heat in a pan after pouring some olive oil and stir fry until softened. The veggies include garlic and onion.
  4. Once soft enough, add the separated meat to the vegetables. You should cook this meat with the onion until it changes its color.
  5. Now to add spices to our meat, add some ketchup and mustard. Toss the meat well in it. Sprinkle salt and pepper into it and also add some chili powder.
  6. Add in a little Worcestershire sauce. Let the mixture sizzle for 20 minutes and you will get a thickened mixture.
