  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1/3 cup oil

  1. With a knife, peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely. Then take a frying pan and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds and cook them without oil. Keep them aside once cooked.
  2. Then in a deep saucepan, add a splash of oil. Add chopped garlic cloves into it. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In that time, instead of waiting, grind the roasted seeds into a fine powder in a grinder that their flavors merge and give a united taste.
  4. Add this fine powder into the garlic mixture and fry. Now add salt, chili flakes, sugar, and turmeric.
  5. At last, add more oil into this mixture and let it burn for 3-5 minutes. Make a mixture of thick consistency.
  6. Your pickle is ready. Let it air cool for some time and then store in glass bottles or jars to eat whenever desired with any kind of meal.
