  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • Salt to taste

  1. In making the spicy chicken bites the steps of marinating and frying the chicken are involved.
  2. You need a pan, spatula, a bowl, and paper towels for draining.
  3. Go get the pan from the crockery shelf and put it on the stovetop to begin the process. Pour some oil into the pan and let it get heated at moderate heat.
  4. While the oil is getting heated, utilize your time and marinate the chicken.
  5. Firstly use a cutting board to cut the chicken strips into bite-size pieces.
  6. Once the chicken is diced, add the chicken to a bowl and pour 2 tablespoons of hot sauce in it.
  7. Take another bowl and pour the pancake mix. Also, mix the hot sauce and water in a separate vessel. Mix well to form a batter.
  8. Then to coat different layers on the chicken, firstly put the chicken in the dry pancake mix and once a coat of powder is formed over it, dip it in the hot sauce and water batter.
  9. In the entire duration, your oil is hot enough to get the chicken dipped in it for the purpose of frying.
  10. Drop the chicken bites one by one in the oil and cook them until a beautiful golden brown layer is formed around it.
  11. Once cooked get them out of the oil and drain the excess oil on paper towels.
  12. Sprinkle some salt and pepper and serve with your favorite sauces and dips.
