Brenda Gantt Fruit Cake Recipe

Brenda Gantt’s Fruit cake is a classic recipe that comes out to provide you with a cake with all the yummy fruity flavors in it. You can add red, yellow, and green tutti fruitily and they will feel finger-licking delicious in every bite. The recipe is easy like all the other cake-and-bake recipes.

Brenda Gantt Fruit cake has been my obsession from the very first time I tried it out at a local restaurant and till then, I have been making it every two or three days in my breakfast or brunch. I couldn’t be more proud of getting an expert in making this Brenda Gantt Fruit Cake.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams of unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons black currant
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons red tutti fruity
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons green tutti fruity
  • 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
  • 2 tablespoons yellow tutti fruity

Method to make the Brenda Gantt Fruit Cake

Take a clean bowl and add the yellow, red, and green tutti fruity into it. Also, add the black currant into it and make the addition of all-purpose flour. Mix all of them well and set them aside.

Add butter into a separate bowl and beat it well until soft and fluffy.

Add powdered sugar to the beaten butter and blend again to mix. Add eggs into the blended butter mix one by one and beat constantly.

Add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder to it. Sift before adding and then blend them well.

Pour vanilla essence into this mixture and blend again.

 

Bring the fruit mixture and add it to the butter one. Mix well until smooth and fluff.

Bring the baking pan, grease it using butter, and pour the fruity cake batter into the pan. Make folding while pouring it into the pan.

Bake for half an hour at a suitable temperature. Check using a spoon or toothpick if the cake is baked or not.

Make slices out of the cake after air cooling and then serve.
