  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of egg shake
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

How to make Bojangles fried chicken

Wash and clean the chicken pieces and rub them with black pepper, cayenne pepper, Cajun seasoning, salt, and paprika powder.

Combine the flour and egg shake in a bowl and mix well. Add a pinch of salt if needed.

Add chicken pieces to the flour and egg mixture until they are well coated. Then roll the chicken in dry flour to coat them.

In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350F approximately. Drown the chicken pieces into hot oil and deep fry for about 15 to 20 minutes until the chicken is golden brown.
